He is a free agent this year. Could be a candidate for a one year "prove it" contract.

Just got to see the end on replay this morning, and noted Cowser's catch for the 27th out.

I've speculated if we would use EBJ to run down loud contact in the gaps late in tournament games, and/or the Dave Roberts stuff.     Cowser had that one, but noodle bats like Chris Taylor won't be taking those plate appearances in October as they sometimes get to on August 27th.

I think it probably doesn't happen and agree the cost might be high for the small chance it matters.    But it'll really matter if it does - some chance last night was a playoff preview.    If that was Game 1 or 2 or 6 or 7, or even worse ALWC Game 3...

I feel he needs another off speed pitch. 
splitter or a changeup. 
 

Obviously like the arm, should be able to locate better, but not having a third pitch makes him much easier to hit.

He's not getting away with enough for them.  He's giving up way too many homeruns.
