Are we really going to get this narrative going again?  There is NO TEAM in baseball that would/could withstand this level of injuries to their pitching. The drafting is not relevant to what is happening to THIS YEARS TEAM. 

Would anyone feel better about this if 3-4 of the guys who are down had been drafted by the Os instead of however they were obtained?  What difference would that make at all?

Elias now can say he did it once, and we'll never ever guarantee >1 year to another pitcher again, outside the Felix Bautista Scenario with zero Year 1 risk.

They didn’t once September started. They did play over their heads in July and August though. I remember the Blue Jays came in over Labor Day and pretty much dominated them and that was about all she wrote. Of course everyone was just happy to finish about .500. Little different now.
