He was good against the Red Sox last time but that’s still 6 ER in 9 IP he’s given up against them on the season.

My only beef with the game threads is that you get these freaking Eeyore Chicken Littles who declare "game over" in the 3rd inning of a game. If you really think that, then turn off the game, go to bed, and spare us your pessimistic BS.

Posted before about Elias and Rogers, and Frobby shared with me a quote that was actually Elias’s damning Rogers with very faint praise.

During that quote, he said that he would be happy for Rogers to be anything from a number three to a number five, which means he would’ve been happy for Rogers to be as good as Povich.

That was a very low bar.

We’re going to lose tonight, and we’re only going to make the playoffs because we got to 25 games over 500 in May and the Yankees were bad for a very long time.
