Let’s also not downplay O’Hearn not being in the field. He does better as a DH and when he’s not playing every day against lefties and righties.

Arraez statcast is crazy — lowest bat speed paired with best squared up.  Feels like if had statcast in Carew era he would be similarish

Those kinds of hitters are still around in Luis Arraez and Steven Kwan.  Maybe not as many in thatt mold though these days.

Eight shutout innings for Max Fried against KC and he's only at 83 pitches. Looks like this game will continue to be meaningful for Minnesota.

Aside from meatball changeup to Buxton, Povich has been dealing tonight.  Fastball is up 2 mph vs season average.  IMO Povich stuff is noticeably better from windup than the stretch.

Doubtful that they are all available tonight given their recent usage. It’s probably Pablo Lopez for 110 pitches.

Other than an O'Hearn HR, I don't think it's been together tonight
