Britton is turning some heads this spring with an athletic build and an improving fastball that has been sitting in the low-90s and has touched 95. That kind of velocity for a southpaw will garner him a lot more attention in the early rounds. The velocity comes from a very quick and easy delivery that looks effortless, and it's not surprise that his high-80s fastball from not too long ago has quickly added the velocity like it has. Like Clayton Kershaw, another talented prep LHP, Britton has committed to play for Texas A&M.

Anyone else notice that one of our draft picks was born in 1982?? This guy is going to be 24 soon. I don't doubt Jordan, but I'm not sure I like the idea of drafting a 24 year old. I know that the Cardinals drafted a 28 year old too. Why the old guys?
