Why do I think this game is over?

Is it because the O's can't hit?

Is it because they make every pitcher look like Cy Young?

Is it because the O's defense is like the Bad News Bears?

Is it the curse?

Is it the last 13 years, the O's have turn many of us to the - side?

The team is made up of fastball hitters, continually facing major league pitchers -- which is to say, pitchers who have a changeup or a slider or a cutter that will leave our fastball hitters looking silly on a regular basis.

I no longer have any illusions of the lineup we have improving at all this season as far as hitting is concerned. They simply don't have the ability to do so...can't see offspeed pitches, can't hit em, and aren't getting the fastballs they want unless the opposing pitcher is hurt.

It's painful to watch their at bats. Most of them don't even have a good approach up there and nothing gets hit hard any more.

I've resorted to changing the channel when we're up and going back when Tillman's pitching. Boy is his curveball pretty.

Two AB battles, both won by Tillman so far. I love that, even if I hate that he can't put em away sooner....

Tejada played that like there were two outs. Way too nonchalant getting that ball to second.

I think he thought it was already 2 outs as well. He seemed to go to second not going for the double.

Apparently Trembley and Tejada exchanged words in the dugout. Maybe we'll see a fight today.

Typical 3 batter, 7 or 8 pitch Oriole inning. No rest for Tillman on a day where his pitch count has been high.
