This ump gets a little bit of credit for being 98% consistent on calling balls and strikes the entire game, BUT, I am still extremely dissatisfied with an ump who thinks he should break the rules of baseball and declare an arbitrarily large strike zone for no reason at all. It's not justifiable. "Just be consistent" makes you a "B" ump, but calling the ACTUAL strike zones makes you an "A" ump.
