I would like to see Wieters DH after a 12 inning game. I know they are off tomorrow.Paulino catching.

That's fine. I'd be happier if Betemit was at 3rd and Johnson at 1st though. I'm really annoyed with Reynolds.

Last year, I think that Reynolds' defensive weaknesses were less egregious at 1st base than at 3rd base, too. Betemit at 3rd and Reynolds at 1st might work better, too.

Perhaps Buck is gambling with tonight's game, giving Reynolds another chance at 3rd base tonight in the hope that maybe he'll have a decent game with no errors before he moves him to either DH or 1st base. It would be nice to see Reynolds have a good game at third, even if we don't plan on keeping him there long-term. We'll see what happens.

I like that Buck dropped Davis and added Paulino against lefty Sabathia.

Certainely not as bad or worse as he has been over these first 6 games. Mark may improve to being as bad as Betemit eventually....we hope...

I know. I'm really hoping Buck will find a way to get Flaherty into the lineup soon. We need to find out what we have with this kid.

And Reynolds should be our full-time DH imo. I like the guy, but he's just not cut out to play the field unfortunately.
