Haven't been this intrigued by a Tillman start for some time. Obviously there are a lot of factors at play but you have to think a good start tonight will push him that much closer to another crack at the majors.

Next time we need a 5th starter is Saturday, which happens to be Tillman's day to pitch. If he has a very good outing today, there's a good chance he will get the call.

Just brutal conditions. Tillman threw a 3-1 change and followed it up w/ a 91MPH FB for the K for the 2nd out in the 5th. Not sure how much to read into the stuff tonight, given the conditions - which apparently have been constant throughout the game (I'm watching on cable in NYC but picked it up in the 3rd).
