IN the 17 inning game, Buck refused to bunt in no less than three situations. He has a clear aversion to bunting. Perhaps because this team is leading the league in the long ball. But still, he can't fall in love with the long ball. Who knows, with #4 hitter Jones at the plate, he might have even reached base...

You could make an argument that running Markakis opens a hole on the left side that would be easy to poke one through with how hard he was throwing.

It's not a good argument, but I can at least see the logic, even though I still consider it a completely idiotic move.
