He was worried Jeter caught it and was going to throw behind him. Still should have been looking at the coach.

There are two outs. It doesn't matter if Jeter catches it or not, you run your butt off to 3rd and watch the 3b coach. Even if Jeter does catch it, you never know if he's going to throw it away trying to get the out at 1b.

I am so friggin' sick and tired of our team having guys at second base and - for whatever reason - having Hale hold them up at 3rd. i am looking forward to not having Hale on third. I could stand there with a stop sign for Pete's sake. Pathetic.

What else was Hale supposed to do? You must not be watching the game. JJ thinks he's smarter than Hale apparently.

I honestly think Hardy was deked by the fact that a little league shortstop would have enough range to stop that ball. I'm guessing he didn't want to get caught by a throw behind to third base if he tried to take an aggressive turn.

No excuse, your 3rd base coach was sending you, that's the only thing he should be looking at.

A-Rod totally deked JJ ala Chuck Knoblach and Lonnie Smith. JJ did not look once at Hale windmilling wildly. Instead he was transfixed while ARod pantomimed that Jeter had stopped the ball and was throwing to third. Awful, awful play. Hope it doesn't hurt us.
