Cal Ripken, Jr. 350

Ivan Rodriguez 338

Hank Aaron 328

Carl Yastrzemski 323

Dave Winfield 319

Eddie Murray 316

Jim Rice 315

Julio Franco 312

Harold Baines 298

Brooks Robinson 297

Rusty Staub 297

It is an Orioles tradition.

There are a lot of Hall of Famers on that list.

Nobody ever talks about that aspect of the game. These young guys today need to stop striking out so much and start hitting into double plays if they want to be great.

Rusty Staub and Wieters would have been a good race.

JIM PALMER: "Only about 4 inches off the plate, and it's called a strike. Something that you often see in a spring training game, when the score is 5-0."

Unfortunately, it's also something that you see in a regular season game when the score is 3-2.

Buck says that the Players are what folks come to see and that umpires and coaches need to understand that.
