And? Is lack of funds why that is? The Os had one of if not the highest payroll on those mid 90s playoff teams. They spent plenty of money in the mid 2010s. Mismanagement is why they were a train wreck. -

If Yates costs more than Seranthony's $8M, I doubt it would be by much. He is 38, albeit coming off a big year. I guess the Kimbrel contract would be a pretty big increase over Seranthony. I would rather have Yates though and we have only so much room for veterans. -

I watched just about every World Series in the early 2000's, even when the Yankees were going to the World Series every year. I guess I just got worn down with watching the O's when they were so bad for their 14 year losing streak. I haven't really watched more than highlights of playoff games the O's weren't involved in for years. It wasn't really a conscious decision, just didn't interest me to watch other baseball teams. -

I would like to see the O's trade for Kupp. I know the Ravens' offense is great, but this about winning in the playoff. It would help Lamar to have another experienced receiver to add to Andrews who can run great routes and move the chains when he's under pressure from a top defense. Seems like the Ravens could have really used someone like Kupp when they couldn't move the ball thru the air against the Chiefs. Probably cost a 3rd round pick or less. -
