Guaranteed if we were in the same situation as the Indians were just in, we'd have hit into a DP, popped up, struck out, anything to not score the run. Off to a horrible start AGAIN.

Didn't we just go through this last night? Contrary to popular belief, the Orioles are actually in the top half of all MLB in leaving the least amount of runners on base and/or in scoring position.

The lend more credence to observational bias then they do facts.

As stated in the O.P., this guy (Masterson) leads the league in walks, is second in the league in hit batsmen, and after going 2-0 on Machado, Manny swings at the next pitch which way inside, then swings at the 4th pitch too, which was also out of the strike zone.

Just too frigging anxious, and opposing pitchers are all too happy to take advantage of that.
