And Strop is a lockdown reliever since leaving Baltimore. Baseball.....weird game.

So is Kevin Gregg. Pitching for a losing team takes a bit of the performance pressure off. Plus NL hasn't seen Strop, but he will regress next time through.

I could careless about using JJ in the 9th. Buck's use of Hunter is what is puzzling to me. He keeps asking him to go more than 1 inning and tonight he could of at least used a lefty for Murphy, of course Baker could have pinch hit there also.

Horrendous offensive approach this inning. Davis has been swinging and missing WAY too much lately, and Adam Jones delivering a good approach at the plate will be the day.
