luismatos4prez
Will CD get more than 20 RBIs the 2nd half of the season? At the rate he's going at, he might not put the ball in play 20 more times the 2nd half of the season. He'll clean it up though. It's a marathon. jofalfa
This is the single most frustrating series of baseball I can remember. They just have horrible offensive stretches. The last series of the year last year in Tampa was atrocious and it carried over into the playoffs. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anybody on the staff that can quickly get them out of it when this happens. They'll slowly heat up again. Hopefully this week. Jonesy10
Will CD get more than 20 RBIs the 2nd half of the season? He will most certainly get more than 20 strikeouts, most likely in the next 10 games.
Malike
Actually, he hit 5 or 6 consecutive solid line drives into centerfield off of a tee in batting practice today when he was having trouble with the pitching machine. Please don't exaggerate. There's enough hyperbole floating around these game threads as it is. Nothing wrong with a little hyperbole.

Il BuonO
Peavy rumors per MLBTR: The Braves are no longer in the mix for Peavy, tweets FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal. The sense is the A's are working the hardest to acquire Peavy while the Braves like him but not enough to offer a significant package, tweets Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The current front-runners for Peavy are (in order): A's, Cardinals, Red Sox, and Orioles, according to ESPN's Buster Olney (Twitter link).

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anybody on the staff that can quickly get them out of it when this happens. They'll slowly heat up again. Hopefully this week. They weren't a good offense last season. They were ninth in the league in runs. They often had trouble scoring when they didn't hit home runs. Greg
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 6m About #Orioles’ pursuit of Peavy: Owner Peter Angelos has been a stickler in past on medical issues.. And Peavy has a long medical history.
dtk9119
I'd be shocked if we got him. Why would we want him? This team isn't going anywhere this year... He wouldn't help Davis and Machado hit a ball right now.

scOtt
I'd be shocked if we got him. I was shocked when we got the last Cuban prospect, sorry don't know his name. Paid him even more than Urrutia!
Spoonless
Machado and Davis need to be booed. They're both absolutely terrible. Funny how they go from the best players and potential MVP candidates to complete jokes.Yeah, that'll show 'em!
