Yes, but Scott is 3 years older. He is, in fact, a great cautionary tale to warn you away from guys like Cruz. Not only that, but Scott had a HIGHER OPS through age 32 than Cruz does.

That's the problem with Luke. He's constantly on the DL. At the end of the season he had a back injury before returning.

Signing Nelson Cruz would be a disaster for this team. I really hope the Mariners FO continues to throw money around and lures him away. If he's getting paid more than $75m then we should stay away.

Uh... not to mention a close to perennial all star at CF and a budding superstar at 3B. I think Cruz would be more of a name in Seattle's lineup than in Baltimore's.
