Did someone just call you a bad fan because you thought this? I guess Roy Firestone is a terrible Orioles fan too. Geeesh.

Yes I did.

And I would do it again.

Because its not just that one time (This does really hurt) but it has been a constant Summer of this Chicken Little stuff.

Well that's just dumb. I'd love to hear the reason why he lost his exemption.
Why not get the exemption?

Don't these people have agents to take care of this stuff?

But what is the difference? He had to know he didn't have the exemption this year, so why did he take it this year?

Honestly no because it wasn't done to the Orioles in a stretch run. That was Texas and in the past, this is right now and this is a team that has lost so much already. So if Cruz did the same thing right now I'd be pissed at him too. Not to mention I didn't say kick anyone off the team

Like CoC said, you can find a doctor to prescribe it for you even if you don't really need it. I wonder (again) if adderal is actually used as a masking agent for the real thing (PED) or if Adderal alone is believed, by players, to signinficantly boost performance.

There is no evidence to you wondering this. It isn't a masking agent.

Yes. I was surprised to see that but statistically he's way better than Davis over there.

Pretty small sample sizes, especially for KJ (who has a huge sample at 2b) . May not mean much of anything. I've seen enough of Davis to think he's not very good there. Not enough of KJ yet..

    • I know. I'm a hand wringer and a whiner when it comes to this team. I sometimes annoy myself with all this baseball nonsense. But really deep down,I'm still the 8 year old who lived and died with every Oriole game. Still. Im that kid. So when this team was really horrible like for most of the second half, it almost made me nauseous just to watch them lose in all kinds of ways. Then all those injuries in a wave. I really felt they weren't going to make the postseason at all. But baseball is a crazy game, and a light switch can be turned on in an instant. Maybe that Santander walk off HR on Thursday threw a switch. Because Friday night, this was a different team. They still strike out a lot, and Burnes was brilliant, but I feel maybe something is moving. Seeing Coluombe come in and strike two batters out, and Webb, not as good, but good enough with a big lead...and to see Cowser and McCann blast two, and Tony again with a HR...It got my juices flowing. Look, maybe they wont play well this weekend, maybe they will. And then the dreaded Yankees might break our hearts next week. But why think that way now.?Urias is coming, then Westburg, then maybe Mounty, and even possibly Grayson at the end . If we can somehow put the pieces together and get our mojo back, and have the players contribute, we maybe, just maybe, might have a little ray of hope.I still think this roster is talented when all our pieces are together, and as good as anyone when we are playing well. So, I'm not asking for a miracle. I'm just asking for a chance to see this team with most of the pieces together again, and compete.Maybe it's even a long shot, but I am still that 8 year old living and dying for a chance to see my boys make me proud. And these are my boys.
    • Velocity was 1.5-2mph down across the board. Movement was good, especially the sweeper. The fastballs worry me at that velocity though... not sure he should be immediately high leverage in the way he used to be.
    • Nicely done. Lol. Yes I remember that with Minnesota.
    • Is there any chance of the Orioles catching any of the teams in front of them with large crowds over the weekend?
    • Wells and Cowser are neck and neck in terms of fWAR. Could go either way
    • Joey Ortiz was in the running for the National League ROY for a while, but there’s too many other guys. However, he will almost certainly be a gold glove finalist, and the Brewers are all very happy to have him. I hope Colton wins, but if the Yankees win the division, as seems likely, I think the national love will go back to them
