This may seem like the most devious thing thought of but we are talking about the Blue Jays who take stealing signs to new levels. Say they were to make DD their "CEO". What's stopping them from then turning around and creating positions above him effectively making him a GMish type just with a different title. Seems like teams create new wacky positions all of the time to accommodate new personnel.

Well if you like him so much then step up and match the offer Toronto is giving him in terms of control and money. Oh wait.
