As I had mentioned earlier today.This team will not be active because of the uncertainty surrounding DD. Also we will sign one FA in Delmon Young and that happened, and there will be no trades nor will there be another FA. We have our 2015 team.......

Two more to go. An outfielder and a backup catcher. Lavarnway is not the guy.

I feel like it is too late in the game to let Duquette leave. If he went to the Winter Meetings thinking he was going to be negotiating with the Blue Jays for another job, instead of putting together a quality team, then he is derelict in his duties. He was sent to the winter meetings for only one reason - to make the Orioles better.

I am of the belief that Duq needs to stay with this team until the end of the year and then let this years team be on his resume. If he indeed was not giving 100% to the Orioles, my suspicion is it will show on the field this year and that will take a little shine off of his star (which it very well should).

If the team does great this year, then awesome. Have him revisit his contract with the Orioles and Angelos at the end of the year.

But in the end, there really should be a moratorium on all communication between executives and other teams at least a couple weeks prior to the Winter Meetings beginning. There is far to much concern for torpedoing your "old" team if not...

If he goes, take their best prospect, bump Buck to GM, and sign Gardenhire to manage.

Why do you think that is what Buck wants? He is invaluable as a manager.

Yeah, he is gone. Just a matter of when.

It's not a matter of when, it's a matter of what we get in return! Hopefully a starter and a leadoff hitter :-)
