Contrary to popular belief, he's not one of our best pitchers. We all want him to be. Not yet though.

Let him throw 6 innings every five days and he will be, before you know it.

Orrr, we can keep him in the bullpen for a few more years, burn up his service time, and minimize his contribution. He has true ace stuff. The only way he will get to hone it is in the rotation.

I'd rather have him starting every 5th day in Norfolk than having him overthrow in the bullpen, at least at this point of the season.

I trust that Wally et al will give him the guidance to tone it down and control it, even in the bullpen. I don't think that they're going to let him go out there and overthrow enough to blow out his arm. Well, at the very latest, he's in the rotation to start 2016; and if they need to make any change this season (almost inevitable), he'll be in the rotation sooner.

I noticed that last year when he was pitching. He always wears his glasses when pitching. I didn't notice any glasses at Fanfest,so maybe he was using contact lenses there.

I believe in Wally and Chiti. They will help Gausman with his command and will help him not overthrow. Perhaps he had too much adrenalin running. He should calm down as the season progresses.
