I keep hearing about Garcia throwing in the mid and upper 90's. Been 92-93 today and was all spring.

Talked to someone in the organization today who said he's been 92-94 all spring. Good arm side run and a solid average slider. The issue is command. He pulls through to often and has too many pitches that never appear to be a strike at any point. He'll need to improve that in order to continue to have success.

I've often been confused by the use of that word. You mean to say they can beat you in more than one fashion? So far I just see a lot of balls solidly hit everywhere. They haven't really had to manufacture anything and they are striking out a lot.

Let's see. They have speed at the top with Reyes. A devastating middle of the order (Bautlsta, Encarnacion, Donaldson) . Promising youngsters on the back end (Pompey, Travis). Most of them can take a walk too. Dynamic, dangerious, well rounded. I think all those terms apply.

Look how Jonathan swept that outer third pitched to third-base.

Really bad approach. Makes me wonder if Cabrera plays well if Schoop doesn't end up being the guy who gets sent down for more seasoning. His arm is a weapon at second base but if he can't put together quality ABs again this year he should figure that out at AAA.

Uhhhh.... I did just as much thinking with my post as you did yours. You consider Buds last season a disappointment? Because I'm sure even you could agree(I hope) that last season Bud didn't "suck and keep sucking".
