Machado continues to draw walks at a good pace for him. 20 BBs in 230 ABs and he did a real good job extending at-bats last night. Excited to see his growth as a player.

I'm a lot more excited by that than anything else in his season. If he can consistently improve and get to 50, 60, 70 walks a year he's going to need an extension sooner than later to delay an 8/250 deal with the Yanks.

in any case what's the big deal about 10 home runs?

The most impressive aspect of Manny hitting 10 homers three years in a row is that he only played in 82 games last year (hitting 12) and has only played in 60 games this year. His power is developing nicely.

He is a big kid - He seems to get his HR in bunches, hoping he goes off this weekend.
