Things I Hate to See

Oh you want to bring up pressure situations? I normally wouldn't bother with stuff like pressure situations, but since you insist.

O'Day in the playoffs.

2010- 4 ER in 4 2/3 innings.

2012- 0 ER in 7 innings.

2014- 4 ER in 2 2/3 innings.

8 ER in 14.3 innings.

Doesn't seem very shutdown when things count to me.

2010 he was not with us so that doesn't matter much to me. He's a huge reason we have even gotten into the playoffs in the first place. How many times has he gotten out of bases loaded situations for us?

His post season performance with another team doesn't count?

OK, I'm done here.

Im not saying it doesnt count, I'm lust looking at only what he has done with this team. He also had a lot of success with Texas during the 2010 regular season, but as I said I am not looking at that. 7 scoreless innings with us in 2012 is great, 4 ER in 2.66 not so much. Considering the fact that he pitches in the 7th and 8th inning and has had tremendous success the last 4 years I would say he is effective under pressure, with the Orioles

So we lost 8 of 10 because we weren't trying hard enough? That's your gripe?

Grandma: "I hope you children see what a valuable waste of resources this has been."

Audrey: "He worked really hard on this Grandma."

Grandpa: "So do washing machines!"

Yeah, that is my gripe! Do you expect me as a fan to accept the poor play

and lack of execution. The thread is called: Things I hate to see!!!

Well I hate to lose, I hate to see the MFY looking down at us. Well I gripe with

losing very winnable games.

The players are paid extremely so high, so they deserve to be accused of

not playing to their ability.

Which ones do you want to keep?

The Catcher who looks like he can't catch back to back games?

The First Baseman who is very streaky, has issues with the shift and K's a ton?

The Starting pitcher who is going to make huge bank?

The relief pitcher on the wrong side of 30 coming off a career year?

That one.

And frankly it's depressing that there is zero chance that the O's will resign him.
