Houston's 19 and 22 ranked prospect. http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2015?list=hou. Preseason rankings. But this looks like a great trade for the Astros. We're 5.5 GB of them for one of the WC game spots.

Yes, but the trajectory of this team isn't so hot, to put it politely. Of all the crappy times to get into a rut like this, just before the trade deadline, 5.5 GB the WC, has to be among the worst. Who knows what's going to happen, but I sure hope the O's do something to make this team better, if not for now than at least for next year. With so many people up for renewal, sitting around watching other teams get better can't be good. In fact, I can't think of anything worse than letting both Nick and Nelson go, and then sit around struggling to get above .500 and not make any moves- that wouldn't be a great selling point when trying to resign all those pieces.

Would you be happy with this trade if it was for Chen right now? Just reading the sbnation board for the A's, they are pretty split but love the catcher Nottingham. He is having a breakout year and more like a top 10 prospect. I'd hope we could get a AA, AAA OF bat for Chen.
