I don't know...we now have positive mojo, instead of the negative mojo of the past few weeks. We'll start getting the bounces, lucky hits, etc.

We just have to ride it for as long as it lasts...hopefully the rest of the season.

Replacing Nick's on the field performance wasn't exactly a high bar.

There was no reason to expect Snider not to be able to put up a 2 WARish season.

Except hindsight.

...or, except that in parts of 8 seasons, Snider has only once put up a WAR of over 1. Every other season has been sub-1.

Very true. I'd liken that to chronic illnesses and that's one of the most important things you learn to do. One thing at a time, you can't overwhelm yourself with the entirety of the task.
