Isn't it interesting that our FA's haven't garnered a ton of attention? Davis' date=' Chen, Parra and Pearce. Does that speak to the league's belief about them? Did the defense help Chen's numbers? Were they helped a lot by the coaching of Buck? Was Pearce a one hit wonder?[/quote']

Davis and Chen still being on the market has more to do with Boras putting a high price tag on them then them being Orioles.

Parra is down on the ranking compared to other FA outfielders and he is asking for 4 years and a lot of money without a track record to back it up.

Pearce is a bench player who MLBTR projected would get a big jump in salary. If his agent really is asking for that kind of raise that slowed his market up.

So all four still being on the market has more to do with the money they are asking for rather then them being former Orioles.

:agree:

Additionally, Parra and Pearce are unlikely to sign anywhere untill the Davis/Upton/Gordon/Cespedes logjam breaks. Then you've got guys like Fowler, Jackson, and Span out there, as well.
