Watching this team during the first two weeks, it was hard to imagine them going two games and scoring a total of 1 run. Archer was good but the Birds hit some balls hard... Too many good hitters for them all to go cold like this for very long.

Indeed. Mental toughness is a huge part of the game and it really shows whether a pitcher has it or not when he gets a bad call. Does he throw a hissy fit and start throwing at people and losing his composure or do you

take it on the cheek and get yourself out of it. Gausman was the former tonight.
