Would have been a heady play for sure. Easy to think that from the couch, I'm not sure I have ever seen a player intentionally swing and miss at a bad pitch to reach on a dropped third strike.

Matusz giving the O's nothing did no damage at all.

Body language and it looked like he threw at that batter (don't remember who it was) on purpose. He completely lost his composure and even his body language in the dugout while Buck was talking to him was full of

a pissy attitude.

Did you not see the walk and complete loss of command before and after the HBP? No way that was intentional in a one-run ballgame. I do agree he looked frustrated when he thought he had the strikeout on Souza and that probably didn't help him get calls later in the inning.
