What if MLB gave him a big F-U and arbitrated his appeal a day before he started? And said it wasn't retroactive? I'd love to see that happen.

That's a separate issue. MLB has never suspended players based on how good or bad they are. Nor should they.

It's the loss to the team I'm talking about. One team loses a player who could impact 4 G and another loses a player who could impact 1 G, good or bad.

Russo asked and Buck said its over "what's next". Russo did manage to coax a reaction from him, though. Russo said he thought it was fair that Ventura got more games, then Buck reminded him that it's actually a 1 game suspension for Ace, and the O's bench will be short for 4 days. He said he doesn't want young kids watching baseball to think this is the way to play the game, and it shouldn't be acceptable.
