And just in case you missed it. Joey ain't gonna be back soon. Left bat too.

You can't tell me Yaz can't do this job. You can't. Yaz is a reasonable LH bat - his numbers are dragged down by his vs. LHP splits.

Dickerson was a horrible option when he was still an actual fringe MLB player.

What a freaking joke.

He's clearly going to come up when rosters expand. Rickard won't be back until mid September at the earliest, so need contingency plans.

Career numbers vs. RHP: .258/.335/.411 - .746 OPS.

Now, he hasn't played in the majors since 2014. Soooo, there's that.

RE: Yastrzemski...

In the minors this year: .233/.323/.382 - .705 OPS

Since the move to AAA: .218/.306/.354 - .660 OPS

Last 10 games batting .194.

He's not the answer.

Why would you only list Dickerson's vs. RHP splits, and not do that for Yaz? His OPS vs. RHP is .741 at AAA.

Because Dickersons are at the major league level? And if you are putting up pedestrian platoon splits in the minors I'm not sure it's worth mentioning?

You're right. Numbers built by Dickerson based on his 2009 season (his last with a + 700 OPS vs. RHP) are definitely much more meaningful.
