Call it what you will but 3 out of 7 IR have scored on Bradford this season. And he's only induced 1 DP.

Come on JT, you're smarter that that. How can you justify blindly jumping on Bradford in this case when he did exactly what he was asked to do? If Buck's groundball was hit right at Bynum there is a likely DP. What if Mora comes home to keep the force in play instead of trying to double up Gathwright?

It seems pretty shallow to blame him for giving up an IR in that spot. It is not as if he gave up hard hits or walked anyone.

Coming into tonights game Bradford also had this line with runners on:

16 AB .438 AVG, .474 OBP, .625 SLG, 1.099 OPS

Compared to this line with the bases empty:

34 AB .176 AVG, .200 OBP, .176 SLG, .376 OPS

He clearly needs to only start innings and not clean up messes...

You are reaching bogus conclusions based on stats.

While he hasn't been great, he has gotten hitters to hit lots of weak-ass little GB's. That's his job.

He's not in charge of playing the IF, it's not his fault when they have eyes. Jeez.

Do you have a permit to use numbers?

Did you take the required numbers-safety course?

If you've never been taught how to handle them responsibly, you could hurt somebody.

;-)
