The way he's played tonight is how he played last year at SS. It's why he got the job.

My current theory is that he lost his job... so he's not worrying about losing his job... so he's just playing baseball like he can.

That might not be much of a theory, but it's the best one I can come up with.

I think it is ok to play back at second base. He never charged right at ss though he is Alomar acrobatic at times.
