Flaherty and Santander

Both are expected in Bowie tomorrow (Thursday) for rehab games. Flash should be there just for the weekend, but Santander is expected to take all 20 days.

That's gonna be some OF in Bowie - Hays, Mullens, and Santander.

So in 20 days, either Smith or Kim needs to be traded, or Kim needs to be released.    Or, we need to give up on Santander.

Mullins, Hays, Santander, Stewart. Add in Garabez Rosa who has played right field a lot before and after Yaz and you have a crowd.

At this point, there is no reason for that. We have guys with options and we are out of the race. Might as well have him on the roster and let him get some MLB at bats.

I would like to see Kim not be released but he won't be here next year. There is no reason if they like Santander they can't find him a spot.

I agree, this is the perfect time to add him. In September the rosters expand anyway.

It's all about cutting down those 90 days he has to do in the MLB before he is ours.   This way we only need to keep him on the big league roster the first 50 days or so next year. That's doable.
