Remember when Tom Kelly let Jack Morris stay out there for 10 innings with no margin for error in Game 7 of the 1991 World Series ???

 

Two years later in Game 5 of the 1993 World Series, the late Jim Fregosi let Curt Schilling stay out there for the Complete Game-Shutout with little margin for error (the final score of the game was 2-0) with Schilling throwing an incredible 147 pitches in the process, but the circumstances in that game were a little different ........ Fregosi (unlike Tom Kelly in 1991) had very little choice but to wing it and let Schilling completely own that game because of the previous day's debacle when the Phillies absolutely depleted their entire bullpen in a 15-14 loss, a game in which they blew a 14-9 lead heading into the 8th inning.

The Astros' outfielders are 0-for-21 with 5 Strikeouts so far in this series ........ yet the team is still up 2 games to 0.

If any of them them get going offensively, that could make for a very tough task for the Yankees in terms of coming back and winning this series.
