As much as we will be tempted as fans to blame the team for this awful development.....(or blame them for not foreseeing this and thus trading him earlier).....that's a fool's errand.  He ruptured his Achilles working out..........that could happen to literally anyone.

Terrible.  Hopefully he's back around the All-Star break, pitches well, and can be dealt.

Hopefully PA realizes, even more, that we are not going to contend this year and trades Machado.  This probably means Brach is staying, though.
