I posted this a move ago on Jan 13th.    4 of the top 51 have signed in the last month.     Look at the OP to see the list on who has signed and who is still out there.

Some really greedy players and agents out there from my perspective.  Hosmer  2 offers for 7/140 and still unsigned.   Dyson has never made more than 2.8m in any year but wants 2/14m.  And it goes on and on.

I don’t see Hosmer and Dyson as equivalent.   Per fangraphs, Dyson’s been worth $14.6 - 24.8 mm per season over the last five years.   I don’t think 2/$14 mm is a very extravagant ask for him.   Hosmer’s another story altogether.

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.   Paying a 33 year old player that makes his living his his legs for what he has done in the past.   He is probably not worth close to 2/14m over the next 2 years.

First of all, I am not advocating Dyson for the Orioles.   I’m just commenting on his contract demands, which in my opinion are quite reasonable.   Sure, he can be expected to slow down as he ages.  But the guy’s been worth $14 mm or more in each of the last 5 seasons, and you think it’s a bad bet that he’ll be worth $14 mm over the next two seasons combined?   Hard for me to see that.  I will say, he’s better for a team that has a spacious outfield.

5 of the top-6 unsigned are Boras clients. 7 total on that list of unsigned.

Boras Corp repped players to sign a ML contract this winter: 0

Total unsigned Boras Corp players: 15

I would say with Cobb and Lynn still unsigned Boras isn't feeling the pressure yet. If those guys sign he needs to get deals done or he could start losing players to other agents.

Everyone outside of Neil walker probably wants to much money. There just is no market for 2nd basemen this year hence why Walker is still out there. Nolasco and Lucroy are old and not that good.
