Brad Brach 87-89 this spring

He's in there now. Second game I've seen him with velocity at 87-89. He's gotten results, but what's going on here?

His slider was only 82!

Yes, that kind of velocity drop is not normal. Even at 88-89 that is way down from his normal 95-96. Concerning no doubt.

I dunno about that. I like our bullpen. Brach is a huge component though, and he's not Brach if he's not throwing heat.

I want to say Palmer mentioned something during a broadcast that I didn't recall reading or otherwise hearing about. But I don't believe it was an arm issue.

No one realized it because it's another obvious thing that should be reported and isn't. But we can all see the games. He's out there, quietly throwing 89 miles per hour, unbeknownst to thousands of Orioles fans. Our closer!
