Yes and we should be pretty sure that whatever Detroit offered was less than the original 150 the O's offered, or it would have been public.

To me the connotation of meddling is wholly negative.

Setting a budget is not meddling for instance.

Saying Here's Brady he's kinda going to work for you kinda going to work for us is meddling.

Clearly, the O's have modeled their search on Amazon's search for HQ2. It's very thorough, to say the least. We should expect an announcement by late 2019 or early 2020.
