Ideally, who could we flip at the deadline?

Hypothetical: lets assume these guys have a good first half in 2019. Who you got? I’m sure I’m forgetting potential trade chips. 

 

Givens

Trumbo

Cashner

Cobb

Bleir

Bundy (maybe)

You can add Villar to that list, but unless he has an all-star like first half I don't think they'll get anything of value for him. There's a reason it took the Brewers three years to trade him. Of the players on your list, I think Givens, Cobb, and Bundy are the only ones who have the potential to return something of value. The others would just be complete salary dumps.

Solid assessment. I know the others are a massive stretch.
