Jose Lopez - I think the O's would claim him

He may  not make it through the National waivers but if he does I think the O's claim him.  25 year old starter who played in AAA last year.    I think Elias would rather have Lopez than Alberto or Araujo.   I don't know what is happening with Sucre and Severino.  Lopez has options.

I doubt that.   Lopez was  impressive in AA in 2017.  But not that great in AAA in 2018.  Decent WHIP and hits per inning for a starter.   I think Elias would send  him to AAA.

I was being serious....Davis has no value and Trumbo needs time to build value when he comes off the IL. Trumbo is really a bummer to me as he is a fast starter historically. Starting on the IL hurts the probability of a fast start.

They obviously refuse the trade and release him. Negative value is indeed negative value.

Trumbo, when he was younger and making less money, was worth exactly one third string catcher.
