I am being serious, will Cobb go down to the minors if he has to rehab for a start or two? He didn't want to use minor league balls last year.

Yup same, herniated disk was out 6 weeks, then he had a mild calf strain and was out for 6 days, then he had a sore thumb. I ended up trading him to the Dodgers for Rich Hill, where he got injured 3 more times starting for the Dodgers

If you are on rehab you can use major league balls.  He couldn’t last year because he wasn’t on a rehab assignment if he went to minors.

I would say get used to this with Cobb. Hopefully he is back soon and can build trade value. 

I don’t see the nagging injuries going away with Cobb turning 32 years old this year.
