What I'd give to see an Orioles catcher actually catch a ball being thrown in by the cutoff man.  Iron clad lock that whoever is back there will not catch a relay throw.

But they are plus glove guys back there.  Can't have a defensive liability back there.

I wonder what the league average is for catchers to NOT catch the relay throw? I feel like I've seen it more and more each year.
