Quite the "needler", huh?  BTW, I didn't feel the "need" to "shout" my handle, just forgot the "Cap Lock" button was still on.  I like your handle and always look forward to your posts.  I like the fact you know what "can of corn" means.  The topic of old baseball expressions makes for stimulating conversation. I shoulda used a handle like, "Throwin' Aspirin Tablets"  or "Dying Quail".

I was at the game and the walks were worrying but it looked like the ump was squeezing him a bit on his fastball. Perez was constantly holding the position and if he was missing it was barely off the corners. He did make a few guys look foolish with bad swings and I only saw one or two hard hit balls.

Scott pitched this morning: 3.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 4 K's.    The runs came in the second inning, when Scott walked the bases loaded with nobody out, allowed a sacrifice fly, and then threw a wild pitch that allowed another run to score.     At that point in the game, he'd allowed 2 runs without giving up a hit.    In the third, he allowed two singles, but struck out the last two batters he faced to escape the jam.

Progress.    It would be great to see some consistency with the control.    Considering this is AA, I'd say this might be the best outing of his career.

Really good performance. I'm going to watch the outing later but it's great to see the no walks!

No word on the over/under on the calibration. Even a +4 would still be 99!
