Pretty cool story here about Richie Martin’s visit to the Negro Leagues Museum in Kansas City.   His grandfather played with Satchel Paige and Jackie Robinson on the 1945 Kansas City Monarchs.   https://www.masnsports.com/steve-melewski/2019/08/martin-embraces-family-ties-to-negro-leagues-plus-other-notes.html

That’s so cool.

I've been to the museum a couple of times, and I highly recommend a visit. (What else are you going to do in Kansas City after you've eaten some barbecue and visited my relatives? I'm pretty sure there are no more Wetson's.) The museum's been added to and enhanced since I was last there five or six years ago, and I'm sure that only makes it better.
