Here is my guess:

Probably  Monday's off day::

Pitchers reassigned: Alvarado,  Hunter Cervenka, Diplan, Shepherd, Zastryzny   Optioned: Lakins

Catcher: reassigned: Rutschman, Martin Cervenka

Infielder: optioned: Urias

Outfielder: optioned: McKenna

Kremer the only "big" surprise here.

So, wildcard correctly guessed the two Cervenkas, Alvarado, Diplan, Rutschman and McKenna.    He was wrong about Shepherd, Zastryzny, Lakins and Urias, and missed Kremer, Rodgers and the Rule 5 guys.

Mason Williams and Eric Hanhold are both non-roster guys who could make the team.

I can think of six NRI's that can realistically make this team:

  • Eric Hanhold
  • Wade Leblanc
  • Tom Milone
  • Pat Valaika
  • Mason Williams
  • Bryan Holaday

I don't think Elias is done. More cuts in the next two days is my guess

I would not say he is a lock but I would be very surprised if Leblanc isn’t on the team.

Re: Holaday, I think it's more and more likely they option Sisco. He's got a new batting stance/approach that probably could use some AAA ABs to get comfortable with. And there are a lot more veteran pitchers on the roster this year, which Holaday might help with.

Who knows, though.

Well HERE at least, I’m pretty confident. Holaday is a solid catcher, and offers adequate defense and offense. His defense may even be better than Severino. Sisco ...needs work.
