Baseball is a funny game. Win three against a very good Tampa team vs a couple of the top starters in MLB and then drop three to a bunch of no name Marlins. Maybe one silver lining is that the pitching has been solid even through the bad series.

I truly have to question how much longer plating a team of barely-capable MLB players is with either very few to none of them ever posing a threat of being on a competitive roster.

Given what Elias has done so far I'm not expecting any of their top four prospects to get time in the majors in 2021.

I guess my question is what capable major league players do you want them to put on this roster?  The pitching is where I thought they would be challenged for the most part hasn't been too bad.  Mountcastle will most likely get his chance but position wise I don't think there are a ton of choices.

I'd promote Diaz at some point if the current outfield play continues.
