What?  He's tossing the ball back and forth into his glove . Any of us who have played baseball have had similar little ticks we do to relax.  This is a non story.

He's got no idea that 95% of the league that does this.  No one knows.  That's just wild speculation.

There probably is something on his glove to be honest. But the league doesn’t seem to know what to do about it (look at the Trevor Bauer situation,) and/or is rightfully terrified of anymore bad press, so nothing will come of this.

I'm convinced.

The key is that EVERY TIME Means pitches, and from what I've seen IN EVERY INNING he pitches, he goes out to the mound wearing a baseball glove. He's a pitcher, not an infielder. Why does he wear a glove if he's not using it to hide foreign substances that he can apply to the ball?

He also uses DIFFERENT GLOVES in different games. Some are black, and some are brown. Obviously, that's because he uses different foreign substances at different times, and his choice of gloves varies according to the glove color, design and material that will make that game's foreign substance invisible.

There just isn't an innocent explanation here.

I wish the umpires would spend more time and effort looking into players cheating, even if means they're no longer able to maintain the near-perfection in calling balls and strikes that we've been seeing. Anyone in the American League who's having a good season and isn't on the NYYs or RS, or named Mike Trout, is a suspect and should be closely watched.
