Well Gil had a stinker of a game. -
Bautista would have been eligible for arbitration after this season, but the Orioles signed him to a two year/$2 million contract before this season. He does get a year of service time for this season. -

Jackson was on base 5 times today and no one noticed. I bet if he struck out 3 times and went 0 for 4 there would have been 10 posts. Maybe not the greatest pitchers he was facing, but still mlb pitchers and several different ones. No denying that Jackson had a rough rookie season. I hope today was a sign of a lot of good things to come and Jackson will be Baltimore's leadoff hitter for years. -
great explanation, thank you. I may be a little bias but all I'm hearing is fWAR is far better baseball references negative defensive WAR value for cowser also just doesn't pass the eye test. he's a plus value defender. -

A 90 win season with Grayson missing at least 10 starts, Means and Bradish missing at least 20 each. Throw in Tyler Wells missing most of the season and other injuries I think this team and its management has done well. If just a little more healthy they could have had back to back 100 win seasons. I am glad we have Mike Elias and Brandon Hyde leading this team.
