Santander needed to call off Mullins there.   He’s got a much better arm and had plenty of time to line up for a throw there.  But it’s tough because the CF is usually in charge.

Tate just had 7 consecutive scoreless appearances, allowing 4 baserunners over 7 and 2/3rds innings.

Both announcers managed to not mention the elephant in the room - Mullins does not throw well.

I agree. I almost posted the same thing, but felt like it was a bit nit picky, and it ultimately wouldn't have mattered, the runner was too fast.
